With Christmas over and done with for another year, it's time to start thinking about the penultimate event of the year, New Years Eve. Whether you're hosting a big party to welcome 2019 or just a small family gathering, you're probably wondering what food and drinks will be served to mark the special occasion!
Cocktails don't always have to be complicated, with various sugar syrups and obscure spirits! Sometimes the more classic cocktails do just as well. Here at Mon Dessert we can't think of anything better to pair with cocktails than delicious homemade macarons!
They serve wonderfully as canapes or even little sweet treats after a dinner. And if you're worried that you won't have time to make macarons on the day, don't worry, macarons can be frozen ready to go with the ganache, or just the shells. So that's one less thing to worry about on the day!
Here's a few ideas to get you inspired!
