We are thrilled to announce our first venture to the North, as Mon Dessert launches in Fenwick Newcastle!
First opened in 1882, Fenwick Newcastle is a shopping institution and one of Britain's leading luxury department stores. John James Fenwick, began the retail empire when he took over a doctor’s house in a residential area of Newcastle upon Tyne. It cost him just £181 and 4 shillings to convert 5 Northumberland Street house into a shop.
Today, the store offers everything from food to fashion spread over five floors of the iconic building in Newcastle city centre. With 11 stylish eateries and services including personal shopping, a hair salon and a nail bar, it is the ultimate one-stop shop and the perfect new home for Mon Dessert.
It is very exciting for our range of Macaron Home Baking Kits to be stocked at the Fenwick store, as this is our first venture outside of London. The Mon Dessert Framboise Rose, Chocolat Noir & Gold Dust and Special Christmas L'Edition Noel Macaron Making Kits will all be available from the stunning, newly redeveloped Fenwick Food Hall from the end of August.
To celebrate the launch, later this year we will be holding some exclusive macaron tasting days in the Food Hall, details coming soon...
